Resolution Condemning Lisa Schreibersdorf for Doxxing a Union Member and Demanding an End to Retaliatory Termination Efforts

Authors: Andrew Eichen, Navruz Baum

Brooklyn Defender Services (BDS), under the leadership of CEO Lisa Schreibersdorf, is attempting to terminate employee and union member Lucas Gomez for a post on his private social media. This is a reprehensible intrusion into off-duty conduct and a blatant attempt to chill worker speech.

Unsatisfied with pursuing termination, BDS has joined a doxxing and smear campaign against Lucas led by Zionist organizations and Trump administration officials. Whereas trolls had previously only speculated as to his identity and workplace, BDS itself confirmed his name and profession on Instagram, X, and its official website—directly exposing Lucas to further harm. The agency has even falsely claimed to have already terminated him—an unlawful move that would trample bargained-for union protections.

Schreibersdorf’s actions are part of a broader pattern of termination, discipline, and intimidation by legal services bosses against worker speech on Palestine, regardless of its content. Zionists and bosses have cynically seized on this post not because it is representative, but because it serves their larger goal of silencing all discussion of Palestine. At a time when the world is witnessing an ongoing genocide in Gaza, management’s decision to side with doxxing campaigns and repress worker speech is especially reprehensible. Schreibersdorf has even paired her attack on worker speech with new surveillance systems that track employee location.

ALAA calls on BDS to immediately end its termination proceedings and issue a full apology to Lucas.
