UAW Constitutional Amendments for a Class Struggle UAW

Adopted by the ALAA Joint Council April 14, 2026

WHEREAS, the UAW Constitution provides that locals may nominate amendments to the UAW Constitution for consideration at the June 2026 UAW Constitutional Convention.

THEREFORE, be it resolved that ALAA - UAW 2325 nominates the following amendments for the 2026 UAW Constitutional Convention:

1. Fight Layoffs With Work Sharing

2. Abolish ICE and Fight State Attacks on Workers

3. Membership Vote on Presidential Endorsements

4. Anti-Whipsaw Wage Floor and Strike Fund

5. End Complicity With Israeli Genocide and Imperialist Wars

6. Abolish Forced Overtime
